I created this macra-weave tapestry during my 30th birthday getaway at one of my favorite places, Maple Grove Hot Springs. 

Over the years, this has become a place I visit to receive personal healing, peace, contentment and joy. Being off grid in this sanctuary of beauty and quiet surrounded has given me so much inspiration. Starting with this piece. There was something so special about working through what I’m healing in myself while on this land, one knot at a time. By the end of this tapestry I felt so calm and collected, I worked through what I needed to. Which is how my love for this art form began anyway, as a form of therapy.
I’m so grateful for this healing place and for the gift of healing macrame has given me. I hope this piece brings you the same calm healing energy that it brought me during its creation. 🤍
